Bitsy and Teenie should be proud of their ancestry. I actually want to get one of those DNA testing kits (like "MyHeritage") to learn more about mine. Here is what I know: My dad's parents were from Sicily. My mom is part Italian (her dad's side of the family were from Calabria) and part Russian (her mom's side). Even though it appears I am half Sicilian, a quarter Calabrese, and a quarter Russian, that really isn't the full picture. For example, my grandmother was Russian, but from what region? Also, my "great, great" ancestors could have been from anywhere in Europe. I would love to know if there are other nationalities in my makeup. In fact, I am going to order a DNA kit once I am done typing. After I get my results (I think it takes about a month), I will post my findings. Stay tuned 👍
