Late Saturday night, I started getting sharp pains in my abdomen accompanied by a low grade fever. I stuck it out for a while hoping it would pass, but at 3:00am I drove myself to the hospital. My fear was my appendix was acting up and I was right! So, around 11:00am on Sunday, I had surgery. Everything went well and they released me from the hospital today. I am very sore right now, but I will survive. Through the whole ordeal, I met many wonderful people at the hospital. Of course there were family and coworkers who were by my side every step of the way too. Times like this make you realize how much people care 😊
